Vivo X300 and X300 Pro Set for India Launch in December: Expected Specs and Price
Vivo is preparing to introduce its latest flagship X300 series in India. The global launch took place last month, and now the company has started teasing the India release. Vivo has not shared the exact launch date, but early December looks likely. The series includes the Vivo X300 and the Vivo X300 Pro. Both phones will be available online through Flipkart, along with Vivo’s official store and retail outlets.
The X300 series first appeared in China on October 13. Vivo later expanded the lineup to select global markets on October 30. The company has now shifted focus to the Indian launch. The Flipkart microsite confirms online availability and hints at a premium positioning to compete with brands like Samsung, Oppo, and OnePlus.
Vivo is also promoting the camera features of the new lineup. Both phones highlight a strong imaging upgrade supported by Vivo’s custom imaging chips and new display technology.
The Vivo X300 Pro features a 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE Q10+ LTPO OLED panel. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate and Circular Polarisation 2.0 for better visibility outdoors. The phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. The top model has 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage.
The standard Vivo X300 carries similar hardware. The main change is the rear camera setup, which is slightly different from the Pro model.
The X300 Pro also focuses on thermal control and battery optimisation. The goal is to offer a better gaming and multimedia experience.
Vivo has not shared pricing details yet. Industry sources indicate that the Vivo X300 Pro may launch around Rs 99,999. This puts the phone in competition with models like the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus and Oppo Find X9 Pro. Pricing for the standard X300 is expected to be lower.
Along with the X300 series, the company is also working on the next-generation Vivo X500 series. Reports point to a major jump in battery capacity. The X500 lineup is said to carry at least a 7,000mAh battery, a big upgrade over the Chinese variant of the X300 Pro which offers 6,510mAh. Vivo is also testing even larger batteries between 8,000mAh and 9,000mAh for future mid-range phones. These units use new silicon-carbon technology to increase density and improve long-term endurance.
Vivo will also release the X300 Ultra in global markets soon. The Ultra model is not expected to reach the 7,000mAh mark, but the company may offer a 6,000mAh cell depending on the region.
Vivo has also teased features like the Photographer Kit for the X300 Pro. This kit includes the ZEISS 2.35x telephoto extender, which will be sold separately. The company is promoting dual imaging chips V3+ and VS1 for better image processing. The phones will run on Origin OS 6 and support features like One-Tap Transfer for iPhone users and Vivo Office Kit for smoother cross-device workflows.
