The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially declared the Civil Services Examination (CSE) Mains Result 2025 on November 11, 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their results on the official website, upsc.gov.in. With this announcement, a total of 2,736 candidates have qualified for the next stage the Personality Test (Interview) round.
The UPSC released the CSE Mains 2025 results in PDF format on its website, listing the roll numbers of all qualified candidates. This marks the second phase of one of India’s toughest exams. The shortlisted candidates will now move forward to the Personality Test round, which determines final selection for top administrative posts like IAS, IPS, IFS, and IRS.
The Commission confirmed that three candidates’ results have been withheld due to pending legal matters. For the rest, the interview round is expected to begin soon after document verification.

All shortlisted candidates must present original certificates during the interview for verification. The required documents include:
Candidates who had uploaded their documents earlier must log in again to verify and confirm their information. This step is mandatory before downloading the e-summon letter for the interview.
The UPSC has clearly stated that no modifications will be allowed in the Online Application Form (OAF). However, candidates can inform the Commission about changes in address or contact details via a formal email at csm-upsc@nic.in.
The Commission has advised all candidates to check the official website regularly for updates regarding interview schedules and e-summon letter releases.
The Personality Test round will be the final phase of the Civil Services selection process. Based on the combined performance in the Mains exam and interview, the final merit list will decide the allocation of services such as IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS, and others.
With nearly 2,736 candidates moving forward, the competition has entered its final stage, leading up to one of the most prestigious positions in Indian governance.
