Satara Polytechnic is established in 1983 under aegis of Satara Education Society (Established in 1935) Satara. It is one of the well reputed Polytechnic of Western Maharashtra. It has identified thrust areas as E-Learning, Entrepreneurship for Socio-economic up-liftment of rural area.
