Lakhimpur polytechnic is a technical institution offering 3 years diploma under the Directorate of Technical Education, Assam, established by the Government of Assam in 2017. It is officially approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and affiliated to State Council for Technical Education, Kahilipara, Guwahati, Assam. The Institute offers diploma level courses in three branches of engineering- Chemical, Civil and Mechanical with intake capacity of 60 (sixty) in each branch
