Government Tool Room Training Centre (GT&TC), Bangalore was established in 1972 with the participation of the Karnataka State Government, in collaboration with the Government of Denmark under the Bilateral Development Co-operation Agreement. The college is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (A.I.C.T.E). The College offers Bachelor of Engineering in Tool Engineering and Precision Manufacturing and M. Tech in Tool
