Madurai Medical College is a premier institution founded in 1954 by the Tamil Nadu Govt. The institution started offering Pharmacy programmes by first offering Diploma in Pharmacy in the year 1959, Bachelors of Pharmacy in 1963 and Masters of Pharmacy in the year 1974. The doctoral programme was recently added.
