The Government Polytechnic lingasugur was established in year 2008.It was started with four courses with intake of 40 each course,later from year 2010 institute intake for each course was increased to 60.This institute runs department of Techinal Education of Government of karnataka. Earlier institution was started in a old government building,and later it as shifted to new building in the yaer 2012. Institute has an Adminstrative block,Workshop A and Workshop b,which were constructed by RI
