VEE SEE BEE Trust, a trust created for the promotion of education in various fields by a philanthropist of Thanjavur District, was accorded permission to establish an Institution for technical education under the Self-Financing Scheme formulated by the Government of Tamil Nadu vide G.O.Ms. No.317 dated 22-3-1984 issued by the Department of Education, Science and Technology from the academic year 1984-85. Trustees of the VEE SEE BEE Trust decided to locate the Institution in the village TIRUMALA
