Sant Gopichand Education and walfare society was formed by a visionary group of professionals in 1978 for educational upliftment of rural folks of Baghpat. The society made a humble beginning in opening an intermediate college in a tiny village, Ahera near Baghpat town. Realising that the entire rural belt of the region had no professional institution, the management established “Shri Gopichand College of Pharmacy at Ahera, Baghpat to fulfill the long felt need to impart professional education.
