About Micro Electronics?

Micro Electronics is one of the branches that come under electronic Engineering, which focuses on designing small electronic parts like circuit boards, microchips, and semiconductors used in new Aerospace, electronic, biomedical, and Information Technology devices and Systems. This course intends to provide an overview of the Micro Electronics industry, emphasising semiconductor processing, device design, device operation and circuit integrations, all from obtaining and improving manufacturer products.

The course helps the students know materials and manufacturing processes with hands-on practice in advanced manufacturing, processing and fabrication technology to address real-world engineering problems and succeed in their career independently or in a group as materials and manufacturing professionals in an industry/research/academic area. Today this course becomes familiar with a wide range of both conventional and novel semiconductor technology.

What is Micro Electronics?

A key emphasis is not being recognised in the Micro Electronic industries need to “design for manufacturability” right from the beginning of the development of a new technology generation, rather than designing first, and then later worrying about this critical aspect. Several examples will be discussed that emphasised the change in business practice in the Micro Electronics industry to incorporate this new attitude. Connections will be made throughout the course on how the Micro Electronics industry is evolving, with the directions and links to new innovative technologies, including novel semiconductor devices, MEMS, photonics and nanoscale devices.

Completing this course will allow the students to apply or develop solutions to research design and simulation in this relevant field. Designing and the technological validity equipment find the solution for the problem and communicate clearly and the effects for the practical applications of the year work still. This field also helps students to have abilities and capacities in developing and applying computer software and hardware to the Micro Electronics design and manufacturing fields.

The theory, practical experiences and relevant skills are associated with this course are to be taught and implemented so that the students demonstrate the following industry-oriented activities related to the competency of using basic management principles to execute daily activities, principles of planning and organising for the accomplishment of tasks, principles of directing and controlling and implementing the plans, applying principles of safety management in all activities and understanding various provinces of industrial acts.

Eligibility and Career in Micro Electronics

To pursue this course, engineering in analysis and designing engineering, students must have minimum marks of 50% in the 10+2 examination from the recognised board. The eligible percentage varies according to the colleges. This is one form of getting admission merit-based system. Another form of getting engineering admission in this field entrance based admission in this candidate must have to fulfil the basic requirements of the examination that means a student should pass with minimum aggregated not for the 60% aggregated marks in that particular academic year after that are eligible for an engineering degree in top colleges of India.  This domine has an excellent job scope in the future the graduates from this field can work with various job types.
