They also determine how long it will take to complete a specific project and meet the deadline. A project engineer is in charge of preparing the timetable for a certain project. They also keep track of the technical tasks involved with a project and resource projections. Construction engineers work in various disciplines within the business, including design, planning, construction, management, and surveying. After completing a B.Tech in Construction Engineering, those who pursue an MBA can pursue managerial positions such as cost engineer, operations manager, project superintendent, safety, or design engineer. Becoming a consultant is always available, but only after gaining sufficient experience in the sector. Interning while still in college boosts freshmen's chances of landing decent employment after graduation. It's important to remember that construction engineering isn't just about erecting skyscrapers and bridges, and hydraulics and environmental infrastructure are also viable options.
