About Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Sandwich)

This course deals with problems and opportunities and various needs of electronics, computers, telecommunication systems and other industries. This course provides fundamental knowledge in core disciplines such as communications, control, signal processing, radio frequency design, microprocessors, power generation, and electrical machines. The focus will be on designing and manufacturing electrical computers and their parts and integrating them into these complex systems. Electrical engineers deal with power generation and transmission. These engineers will design circuits for various electrical appliances such as vehicles, computers, devices, memory storage devices, industrial robots etc. EEE engineers will set up & operate the telecom and wireless networks. Electrical & Electronic Engineers can work in electronics, computers & control systems, telecom, medical manufacturing, and power systems. Students who graduate from this field have opportunities in various categories, as mentioned above. An Electrical Engineer in power generation and distribution in power plants & electrical substations may choose to couple the technical aspects of a position with management responsibilities. There is a huge demand for students with specialised knowledge due to an increased understanding of engineering, technology, and science.

What is Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Sandwich)?

The world is aiming to work with sustainable energy, innovative home technology, self-driving cars etc. In such an atmosphere, electrical engineering will indeed offer students with various opportunities to shine. This course will cover topics such as manufacturing, power design and generation, microchips etc. There has been phenomenal growth in telecom, hardware, robotics, AI, medical electronics, renewable energy will also be reflected in the course structure. In this course, there will be a combination of technical engineering with business needed skills and topics like power and communications engineering and embedded computing. This course will develop students in various skills, including scientific knowledge since this is the main focus of this course, which will prepare students to handle future challenges. Students will also be ready with Technological expertise to be up to date with new strands of technology to analyse the recent developments in technology and think of ways to use them for future growth. Finally, it is students' problem-solving skills that will be developed the best so that they can look out for problems in modern products and think of ways in which they can be solved. The curriculum for this course is similar to other EEE courses `only with excess practical training. For this practical training, students will be provided with industrial training for each semester and be exposed to the industries' Rotary Machinery valuable as well as Heavy engineering Division as well as foundries owned by the college will be used for this purpose. After the third year, students shall be assigned to do mini-projects. The main thing about this course is that students will be sent for an internship in various industries.
