It is the branch that teaches students how to use physical sciences (e.g., chemistry and physics) and life sciences (e.g., biology, microbiology, and biochemistry) to processes that convert basic materials or chemicals into more useful or valuable forms as mathematics and economics. The course is appropriate for learning about waste disposal pollution control standards. The course teaches students how to make a variety of chemical products from raw materials, as well as how to work with heat transfer equipment like heat exchangers, condensers, boilers, evaporators, and furnaces, as well as how to work with air, water, and steam plant utilities to keep the various process equipment running smoothly.
