About Signal Processing and Embedded Systems

In the design and analysis of the embedded systems, Signal processing, and embedded system offers an introduction. Embedded Systems are at the core of nearly every modern technology, smartphones to TV, cars to smart light bulbs. Signal processing and the embedded system is one of the most important disciplines in electronic engineering. To design effectively, they require a unique set of technical and analytical skills. This course will help students develop their know-how in the conception and implementation of embedded systems to manage real-world applications using modern hardware. Since an ETS is subject to important time constraints, this course focuses on understanding where time is spent and what designers can do to achieve ETS. Some solutions include multi-processors, accelerators, specialized equipment, custom instructions.

What is Signal Processing and Embedded systems?

An embedded system is a computer system that has been designed for special control tasks in a larger system; embedded systems (ES) often play an increasing role in our society with real-time computing constraints. These systems are available in many products like television sets and copiers. Embedded systems are combinations of hardware/software intended to control a device, process, or larger system. Combining informatics (software) and electrical (hardware) engineering in these products necessitates an integrated development process. A new race of engineers who can use software and hardware knowledge is necessary. Students can focus on topics ranging from controlling, integrated circuit design, computer architecture, communication networks, and operating systems in real-time to software engineering and embedded formal methodologies. Since an ETS is subject to important time constraints, this course focuses on understanding where time is spent and what designers can do to achieve ETS. Some solutions include multi-processors, accelerators, specialized equipment, custom instructions. Also, this course will teach interrupt response time measurements like compilation flags, the influence of dynamic memories and cache memories. An embedded system based on an FPGA carries out interrupt response times measurements, job switching, and primitive synchronization.

Eligibility and Career in Signal Processing and Embedded Systems

Students who are eligible for signal and embedded systems should have received a BE/BTech or any other equivalent qualification in the respective subject with at least 60 per cent marks. This innovative program will train students to develop and implement embedded systems. You can use the latest embedded technologies if candidates are interested in improving your understanding of real-time business systems. The program is ideal for students with a computer science or electrical engineering background who want to pursue industrial jobs in the automotive, aerospace, defence, and consumer electronics industry. It is also suitable for engineers who wish to acquire advanced instruments and theories in the embedded systems industry. The course is beneficial to enable graduates to develop, analyze and improve embedded system hardware and software in the current and future generations. Candidates can find jobs in car, aerospace, electronics defence, consumer, etc. Signal Procedure & Embedded System Job Types include System Firmware Engineer and Embedded Developer Test Manager, Team Leader, Associate Engineer, Wireless MAC Embedded Design Developer Firmware.
