About Computer-Aided Design & Computer Aided Manufacture

Computer-aided design and Computer-aided manufacturing engineering courses designed to improve the fundamental knowledge of students in the latest technological topics on computer-aided design, Computer-aided manufacturing in Computer-aided engineering analysis and to prepare them for taking further research in the areas and also create a friendly environment that promotes learning, growth, and impact ability to work with interdisciplinary groups in the professional, industries and Research organisations. Today it is one of the trending fields in engineering society. It attracts significant attention from students because it relies on skills that anyone can easily understand. They can learn and do it better with good leadership and solutions and research students for their choices in research and professional career outlook and encourage students to take up research.

What is Computer-Aided Design & Computer Aided Manufacture?

This program is designed to introduce the students to the standard terminology Convection process operation design and operational characteristics of the critical hardware components, programming techniques, applications, Merit and demerit of the Computer-aided design and Computer-aided manufacturing engineering. This stream deals with the major topics like the fundamental concept, structure and function of numeric control and its advantages over conventional manufacturing Technologies, geometric model using curves, surface and solid models, types of formats and their exchange graphic standards, Optimisation techniques and design of experiments, dynamics of mechanical system, Advanced automation systems, bearing designs, computer data instructions and testing instrumentation, experimental models, artificial intelligence, advanced automatic control, analysis of manufacturing system and advanced finite element and Computer-aided analysis of mechanics.

Studying this course will make the students create the different wireframe primitives using parametric representation, surface primitives using parametric modelling, different solid primitives using different representation schemes, and apply geometric transformations on the creative wireframe surface the solid models. With the laboratory classes in conjunctions, they help the students get the family ties with the computer graphics application and design. The learning objective of this course is to make the students able to have abilities and capacities in developing and applying computer software and hardware to mechanical design and manufacturing fields and developing solutions to research the areas of design and simulation in mechanical engineering. End of the course, students will have a clear idea of the areas of work. On completion of project work, students will be able to take up any challenge in practical problems in the field of engineering design and define better solutions to it.

Eligibility and Career in Computer-Aided Design & Computer Aided Manufacture

To pursue this bachelor's degree, a candidate applying for this course must have passed the 10+2 examination from any recognised state or central board with a minimum aggregated mark of 65%. This is a relaxation for the reserved category. Also, candidates must have passed Physics, Chemistry, and maths as their major subjects. With these conditions, candidates must also fill the individual college’s criteria to take admissions. Today this is one of the fast-evolving disciplines.
