The course is secondarily divided into five fields of specialization - media studies, organisational communication, government communication, health communication and identity, and diversity in communication. The program is focused to create professionals to work in the areas of telecom/software equipped with the dynamic and continuous changes happening in the digital/analogue world. This will enable them to successfully participate towards the future development and research in this field.

Top engineering colleges in India providing Communication Systems course are IIT Mumbai, IIT Jharkhand, Vellore Institute Of Technology, Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute Of Technology, Indian Institute Of Information Technology Design And Manufacturing, Manipal University, Gautam Buddha University, Kalasalingam University etc.

How to Join

One who wants to join Signal Processing should pass the qualifying examination with an aggregate score of 60-75% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. After completing the same, the student has to appear for the Joint Entrance Exam Main (JEE - Main) to get admission into one of the top colleges or universities in India.

Most of the engineering colleges in India offer admission to students based on the JEE Main examination. It is a national level entrance examination done by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in India.

Graduate Aptitude Test (GATE) is the national level entrance examination for admission to postgraduate courses by the IITs and IISc in India. Admission to these institutions is offered based on the score secured in GATE by the candidate.

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is the national level apex authority responsible for the regulation and control of all engineering colleges and courses available in India. AICTE is the statutory authority responsible for proper planning and coordination on the development of the technical education system in India.
