Embedded Systems is a specialization course under the electrical engineering domain and is considered one of the most sought after courses. The program is aimed at providing a deeper insight into the hardware and software of the embedded systems and their related technologies. Students who opt for this course are having a wide range of topics to deal with like control engineering, integrated circuit design, computer architecture, communication networks, etc.
An embedded system is a combination of software and hardware like the ABS system of a car, or the operation of an engine, the automatic mode of cars and aircraft. The applications of Embedded systems are not only limited to cars or engines, but it also has a wide range of applications in different electronics in commercial and day-to-day use.

Embedded Systems

The Embedded Systems program offers deep knowledge into the mathematics of electrical engineering, fundamental and various advanced topics in the area. The course offers an opportunity for the students to pay more attention to the research and development in the area of embedded systems.

The course curriculum is designed in accordance with the broad categories of software and hardware related to Embedded Systems. By graduating in this course, the candidates will have the prerequisite knowledge towards career opportunities in this industry. The knowledge and experience acquired in this field of engineering can be enhanced by post-graduate studies focused on your interest and chosen profession.

How to Join

One who wants to join Signal Processing should pass the qualifying examination with an aggregate score of 60-75% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. After completing the same, the student has to appear for the Joint Entrance Exam Main (JEE - Main) to get admission into one of the top colleges or universities in India.

Most of the engineering colleges in India offer admission to students based on the JEE Main examination. It is a national level entrance examination done by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in India.

Graduate Aptitude Test (GATE) is the national level entrance examination for admission to postgraduate courses by the IITs and IISc in India. Admission to these institutions is offered based on the score secured in GATE by the candidate.

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is the national level apex authority responsible for the regulation and control of all engineering colleges and courses available in India. AICTE is the statutory authority responsible for proper planning and coordination on the development of the technical education system in India.
