About Mechanical Engineering (Sandwich)

Mechanical Engineering is a traditional four-year engineering degree that includes both theory and practical on campus. In contrast, Sandwich Engineering is a five-year engineering degree that includes two mandatory semesters (usually the fifth and eighth semesters) of industry training. As a result, it is more practical and industry-oriented training. However, studying for theory is more difficult because the college focuses on practical, as it covers the same theoretical papers. This course introduces students to the concepts, principles, and applications of mechanical engineering in the workplace. Eligibility and Career in Mechanical Engineering (Sandwich)

Candidates for mechanical engineering (Sandwich) must have completed 10+2 (Academic: both +1 and +2) or it's equivalent with a minimum average percentage of 45 per cent (40 per cent for Backward class Muslims, MBC & DNC, SC/SCA/ST) in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry combined from any recognized institute/board. Team leader, Maintenance Supervisor, Production Supervisor, Field Service Supervisor, Quality Assurance Supervisor, and Field Project Supervisor are all positions available to successful graduates.
