About Industrial Pollution Control

Industrial pollution control is a stream that deals with pollution control techniques by different biological, physical, chemical treatment processes, which will help to maintain and control pollution. The main aim of varying pollution control concepts is to overcome increasing industrial decay and prevention, which will minimize the waste and help reduce pollution from different industries like steel, radial, etc.  This course also deals with all risk outcomes, environmental standards, regulatory techniques, and limits, which will help to decrease industrial pollution. This deals with research, design, plan, duties to make prevention control, remediate the environmental hazards due to industrial pollution by using various discipline and preventive measures.

What is Industrial Pollution Control?

The industrial pollution control branch deals with all key treatments and concepts for different processes central to industrial control of pollution. This course taught students about preventive and minimization factors for pollution control and different terminologies, bio life cycles management strategies. Students also learn about awareness factors like technical, economic, commercial factors that will drive pollution control. Students also learn about different testing methods to examine pollution levels, physic-chemical nature, and concentration of contaminant particles to detect pollution. Students learn about additional industrial pollution like water pollution, noise pollution, air pollution, radioactive waste etc. In industrial water pollution, students learn about the principle of industrial wastewater treatment, disposal of waste and reuse to reduce pollution. Also, provide knowledge about different management concepts like zero liquid discharge policy and clear production and reuse of waste material. Students also learn about environment auditing, trade waste policies, license agreement, concepts and laws. Thus stream provides knowledge about management and engineering together to prevent and reduce pollution in the industrial sector.  Students were also taught about different safety and precautionary measures and communication skills to cope with unfavourable conditions in their future work.  A student also taught about possible ways to control industrial pollution like source handling, recycling and reuse of waste products, selecting proper sites for industries, enforcing strict environmental laws and regulations, reforestation, and regular environmental assessment. Students also learn about working patterns and pollution control requests which will remove and eliminate a wide variety of pollutants, volatile organic compounds and major air pollutant particles, and reduce waste materials of water bodies by proper chlorination and other techniques.

Eligibility and Career in Industrial Pollution Control

As mentioned above, all details about industrial pollution control are growing and have enormous growth potential from a mid to long perspective. There are several future career paths one can take after specialization in this field. Demand for jobs increasing day by day, and this field is a great option to do the occupation. Like every course, this course also requires 10+2 education from reputed and recognized colleges or schools. Several postgraduates and masters programs are also available in this field. One can join as a technician, professor …etc. The undergraduate course will last for 2-4 years, and post-graduation barely lasts for 1-3 years.
