The electronic field deals with developing and applying devices and systems involving the flow of electrons in a vacuum, in gaseous media and semiconductors. The study of electronics is the main path that leads you to the knowledge of building and using electronic devices such as computers. The electronic field includes televisions, DVD, Blu-ray players, phones, GPS systems, video games and computer systems. But speaking, computer science is the study of principles, applications, and technologies of computing and computers. Computer science provides skills and knowledge which are essential in computing and related areas. It has a significant impact on modern society as it is the cornerstone of all digital technologies we use in our daily lives.

WHAT IS ELECTRONICS & COMPUTER SCIENCE?

The amount of overlap in the two fields means professionals in both areas share many common skills for designing and understanding the hardware that goes in computers, household items, and machines. It is the integration of electrical engineering and computer system to develop computer systems. These two encompasses not only the software aspects but also the hardware. To make it more clear, electronics make up the computer hardware, such as circuits and chips. And thus they run the computer.

The professionals who study electronics deals with the hardware’s of a computer and concentrate on its functioning, but for the professionals who study computer science, it’s not necessary to know entirely about the computer hardware. Still, they are highlighted on some levels since they deal much with computer systems, which is the main difference. If you learn electronics, you will be able to work perfectly in computer science, since you will understand the architecture of computers and then you will be able to improve. Days we depend on silicon-based electronics to build computers, which will enhance one’s ability to take some other technologies that are not from silicon to build up new architectures.
