The course provides a thorough understanding of the socio-economic issues that influence rural society transformation. The materials are intended to provide learners with a comprehensive experience of the critical aspects of rural development. The learner will also be introduced to the fundamentals of research and project work. Its goal is to provide a holistic view of rural development that encompasses all areas of rural living. It teaches students about the fundamentals of rural development. The course is organized as a project course. Students are given work to complete in the field (reflective diaries, critical essays, etc.). The student will be able to present and critically analyze work-life situations in Rural Development about theories and practices of Rural Development after completing this course in written and oral form.
