Thus this Department of Mechanical Design and Robotics engineering allows the graduates to move towards the future convergence of Technology based on the precision of understanding machine systems and electronic controls. The study of this course will develop the intellectual, creative and imaginative skills of the students. This course is designed to give graduates highly trained and well equipped in mechanical designing and robotic area.

What is Machine Design and Robotics Engineering?

This field of machine designs and robotics was primarily focused on the theory of elasticity and plasticity, fracture mechanics, composite materials and Technology, finite element analysis, stress analysis, advanced vibration, tribology and bearing designs. This field also focused on the various research areas of mechanical designing like Hybrid electric vehicles, automatic transmission mechanic and application software, mechanical reliability, micro packaging, Nanodevice by using biosensors, nuclear power plant, flip-chip analysis, Rapid prototyping, CAD mould design and mechanical designing and in robotic automation session is mainly focused on a microprocessor, semiconductors equipment, intelligent robot, humanoid robots, image processing and sensor networks. The educational objectives of this course are to groom the students with creative, cooperative, and responsible graduates with strong subject knowledge. Also, this course will train the students with efficient knowledge to solve problems. The spirit of good communication skills provides the ability to apply convergence technologies based on professional experts. Along with this mechanical system, semiconductor equipment, aerospace building machine tools, LCD, OLED, mobile phones, robotics automotive are some of the areas which need this course for their upcoming development.

Eligibility and Career in Machine Design and Robotics Engineering

They should pass higher secondary courses of 10+examination with Physics, Maths and Chemistry as their major subjects. In the case of lateral entry, candidates should pass the diploma in the relevant field. And candidates who are qualified for the joint entrance examination of the year of admission conducted by the central Government for undergraduate admission should obtain the minimum aggregated mark in the entrance exam and eligibility criteria for taking these courses. To pursue a post-graduate programme, candidates should pass a bachelor degree with minimum marks of 55%, and they should have a minimum pass mark in the entrance exam also must need. It is one of the evergreen fields in Engineering because it has a large number of career opportunities. Engineering in this field has a huge number of options in both Government and the private sectors Central and state governments.
